A night like many others

I’ve been wanting to exercise my writing for a while. It seems like I never have time, but alas, today I found 10 minutes to give it a go. I’ve been really happy lately, so I thought it would be fun to try and write a condensed mash of sheer negativity as an exercise. Here are the results. I hope you enjoy them
It was a night like many others. It never was very dark in the city, the lights of thousand takeaway shops staining the night sky with a dirty, sticky mustard, spice and mozzarella glow. A back cab circled randomly the nearby streets racking up the fare for the clueless pair sitting in it. What a pair it was: too absorbed in the drunken contemplation of their reflections on firmly set alcohol goggles, their inebriated minds already savoured the promise of a wet night of clumsy fondles sprinkled with a handful of beer-stinking mouthfuls of spit mix.
