Angelina and Marco’s wedding

We were off to Florence for the weekend to attend their wedding. It’s been a beautiful weekend, in the really good company of some of my former easyJet colleagues who I hadn’t seen for too long.

Angelina and MarcoOn the day they tied the knot, Angelina was stunning in her wedding dress.

Katia couldn’t help shedding a tear or two at the ceremony -she finds weddings emotional occasions, and I couldn’t help enter into a bit of a race with David to see who could drink more glasses of wine before hitting the tables for a superb dinner.

The night ended on a high, the groom ordering 50 beers after another 50 at what we were told was anIrish pub just outside the hotel that was our base for the weekend. We managed to get a few pictures of it all, and should get our hands on the others’ photos soon.

Katia holding the tower of Pisa On the next morning we were feeling the weight of the long night over our shoulders, but still managed to find the energy to visit the Duomo one more time and heaf off to Pisa for the traditional pretend you’re holding it photo. A very long wait, a flight and a couple of hours car drive later, we were back home.

This morning I’m just too tired. Tomorrow I’m off to Spain for 2 days’ holidays and Bea’s wedding to Russel.
